The Studio in the Gallery
Ignacio Iturria In Residence at the Neuberger Museum of Art
This brochure explores the works created by Uruguayan artist Ignacio Iturria from September to November 2017, during a residency at the Neuberger Museum of Art organized in conjunction with the retrospective exhibition A Studio in the Gallery: The Playful Universe of Ignacio Iturria (on view September 24, 2017–February 25, 2018). As the title of the exhibition indicates, alongside the exhibition, a studio was built inside the gallery—a living studio in which the artist was invited to create new works and interact with the public.
